Welcome to the website for the 2012 SICSA PhD Conference, held at Glasgow Caledonian University from the 20th - 22nd June, 2012.



The SICSA PhD Conference is open to all PhD students in computer science and informatics in Scotland, not just those students funded by SICSA. There is no registration fee or accommodation costs* and travel expenses to attend the conference will be covered by your university.

  • Friday 18th May: Registration with Poster and Workshop Participation Deadline
  • Wednesday 6th June: Registration (without poster) closes
  • Wednesday 20th June: Conference Begins

About the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA)

The Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) community includes all postgraduate students studying for a PhD in Scottish universities as well as academic staff in SICSA member institutions. Our aim is to develop a vibrant, coherent community where students participate in research discussions and learn new skills.
